Manuka honey is produced by bees who pollinate the Manuka bush. Manuka honey is known for its anti bacterial properties.
-    Manuka honey has a compound called dihydroxyacetone. This results in the nectar having Methylglyoxal (MG). MG and hydrogen peroxide are responsible for Manuka Honey’s anti bacterial and antiseptic properties
