Our Shampoo Bar for Oily Hair is a gentle yet effective detox for overactive scalps. Formulated with purifying clays, soothing botanicals, and lightweight butters, this bar deeply cleanses without stripping your hair or irritating your scalp. It helps control excess oil, reduce build-up, and leave your hair feeling fresh, light, and clean.

At the base of the bar are Kokum and Illipe Butters, two non-greasy emollients that nourish the scalp without adding heaviness. They provide essential hydration while helping to soothe and protect the scalp barrier—perfect for oily roots with dry ends.

We’ve added Fuller’s Earth, a natural clay loved for its oil-absorbing properties. It gently draws out impurities, unclogs pores, and refreshes the scalp, leaving your roots lighter and more balanced.

A potent blend of Nettle, Neem, and Horse Chestnut Extracts work behind the scenes to support scalp health, reduce inflammation, and regulate sebum production. These herbal allies also promote stronger roots and help combat itchiness or flaking often linked to oily scalp conditions.

To hydrate and strengthen, Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) improves hair elasticity and adds a touch of softness—so your strands stay nourished without looking greasy.

We finish with a vibrant, balancing blend of Lavender and Orange Essential Oils, known to refresh the scalp, purify the skin, and leave a naturally clean, uplifting scent.

FAQs

How often should I wash my hair?
Once a week is enough to wash your hair. By washing less frequently, your hair will retain more of its natural oils. To prevent excess buildup of grease between washes, reduce your use of styling products that may attract grime. As your hair improves in health, you’ll find that fewer styling products are needed. Increase to washing twice per week if necessary.

How long does it last?
A single bar will last for 80 washes. If you only wash your hair with it weekly, it will last well over a year. If you use it as a daily body wash, it will still last more than two months.

Which bar should I use for colour treated hair?
 If you have coloured hair, try the 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioning Bar or the Shampoo Bar for Dry Hair. Coloured hair tends to be more porous and can be prone to dryness, which is why both these soap bars will suit dyed hair.

Do I need to wash my hair twice?
Once is enough unless you’ve had a mud bath or your hair is drenched in chlorine.

• Wet your hair
• Lather up the bar between your hands and rub the lather over your hair. Alternately, swipe the bar two or three times over your hair (Avoid the temptation to cover your hair in too much product)
• Massage in thoroughly to create more lather
• Rinse thoroughly as you would with traditional shampoo
• Follow with conditioner if needed.
